Just hydrate as much as possible while recovering!ģ) Make sure you have a lot of pillows for sleeping and chilling.Ĥ) Have someone with you for the beginning. It’s expensive but sooooo worth it.Ģ) Drink lots of pineapple juice and coconut water. Here’s what I recommend:ġ) Buy yourself some Juven drink powder for wound healing.

But by day two I was already on the upswing. Get yourself some sleeping aids to just knock yourself out. Returned to work two days after surgery (I work from home though). I’m five days post op and I’m having a relatively easy experience. OP, if you have Facebook there are a bunch of really supportive BBL groups you could join. I’ll add more if I think of anything else, good luck with your BBL and I wish you a speedy recovery! If you’re going to Avana, or anywhere in Miami, LEARN SOME SPANISH! A big portion of the population in Miami are spanish speakers, and you don’t want to be completely clueless.During my last massage in Miami, the masseuse cut open all of my incisions and pushed fluid out of them. They are literally pushing fluid out of your drain hole. If you don’t want to be lumpy and stuff where you were lipo’d, get your massages! At least 5-10!Īlso, the first few massages are INCREDIBLY PAINFUL.

They are incredibly important for fluid drainage/swelling/overall results. GET YOUR MASSAGES!!! My package came with two massages included, but I had another 3 before I left miami and another 3 once I got home. You probably will be constipated for the first few days after anyway, so enjoy it because pooping is extremely uncomfortable when you’re in that much pain. There’s just too much of a mess if you keep the garment on, and I could barely wipe my ass so I felt like I was not cleaning myself properly. I do this now at home, sit on the edge of the tub (so it’s just your thighs holding you up).Īlso, to poop I recommend taking your entire garment off and using the BBL pillow wrapped in a towel you don’t care about. I found it best to just hold the sides of my faja (mine had a crotch opening) and standing straddling the toilet. You’re gonna be drinking so much water and also the fluid they injected during lipo is gonna make you have to pee A LOT. Going to the bathroom will be incredibly difficult. I highly recommend doing something like this because it’s not worth straining yourself to hold your entire body upright. I started using the wheely chair in my hotel as a walker, just for the first few days, to make sure I got my steps in. I would get nauseous and faint within minutes of standing up and have to lie back down to prevent throwing up/passing out.

You’re supposed to get up and walk 5-10 minutes every hour straight out of surgery to prevent blood clots, but the first couple hours for me were so hard. I definitely underestimated the procedure because I knew so many celebrities have had it done, how bad could it be? It’s still a SURGICAL PROCEDURE and your body will need to recover.

Don’t forget to get extra compression socks too. Get a second faja as soon as you can so you have a fresh one to change into after your first shower. Fajas have to be hand washed and hung to dry which takes AGES, and you can only be out of it for <2 hours at a time. My neck was SO sore and stiff within days of trying to do everything on my stomach.īuy extra garments. You’ll think that you’ll be okay sleeping on your stomach until you realize you have to stand to do everything else (like eating!) and it’s not worth the pain. You can buy them online or make one (I bought a lounge chair from big lots, cut a hole where my butt would go, then padded around the hole with pillows and towels). Not being able to sit down is a BIGGER pain in the ass than I expected. Once you get the okay to shower I would get more gauze (they only send you home with some in your faja) and put it around your drain site. Your faja is gonna be wet pretty much 24/7. There’s gonna be blood where you were lying every time you get up for the first couple of days. When I first got out of the car after my procedure a lot of blood rushed down my legs.
